Privacy

Short version: the draw happens in your browser, and there is no account or database behind it.

What we do not collect

No accounts, no sign-up, no email addresses for the draw. Your names and pairings are not sent to a server and are not stored in a database. There is no analytics or advertising script on this site at the time of writing.

What is in a link

Each person's link contains only that person's name and who they are buying for, encoded after the # in the address. Browsers do not send that part of a URL to the server, so it stays between the people who hold the link.

Encoding is not encryption. Anyone who has a link can read that one draw. Send each link privately, and do not post them in public channels.

What happens if you email us

If you write to the contact address, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. It is used to answer you and nothing else. There is no mailing list and no marketing email.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver the page and protect the service.

Children

The site is a general-audience tool for organising gift exchanges. It is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
